What is "Me time"?
Me time is a chance for you to be creative at
your own pace.
Whether you want to get your feet wet or
further develop an existing work of art without
incurring the costs associated with getting
your own equipment, me time is for you.
During "Me time" you have access to our
classroom and our equipment to pursue
whatever your feel like. You may also elect to
sign-up for one of our memberships. It will
allow you to access our facilities during "Me
time" at a reduced rate.

own time at their own pace in our studio.
Please note that formal instruction not
provided.
$5 for the day for jewellery makers.
$10 a day for Artists
$10 a day for Pottery Students (Must be
enrolled in one of our classes)
Pottery Studio Memberships available for
graduates of Level 1 Pottery from our school
or another school that we recognize.
Pottery Students must use our studio clay.
Clay available for $25 a bag. Firing fees extra
for studio members. (Firing included in class
fee for pottery students)
More Info: about Mini workshops! The fee is
$5 hour per person plus the session fee of
$5. This is perfect for those who want to
come in with a small group and have short
lesson on how to use their recent purchases
from The Bead Store! We will be available to
help guide you through your project.
(Availability of these mini-workshops is
dependent on our class schedule and if "The
Bead Store" is busy. We want you to have the
best experience possible when you are
working!) Note: Children under 7 must be
accompanied by a non-participating parent.)
Firing fees:
Glaze-$0.75 per item (mug, bowl etc.)
Larger items TBD.
Firing: Bisque: full kiln $130
1/2 kiln $65
or- per item fired with pottery student
work:$1 (Larger items TBD)
Glaze firing: full kiln $190
1/2 kiln $95
or- per item fired with pottery student work:
$1.25 (Larger items TBD)
We are sorry but we cannot fire pottery
made outside of our facilities. No clay can
be brought in to our studio. (We need to
ensure that no other clay that fires at a
different temperature mixes with our clay
or is fired in our equipment. Clay fires at
different temperatures and could melt or
blow up causing damage to our kilns or
other student work.)
Memberships:
We offer daily, monthly and yearly
memberships.
Art/Jewellery Making: $25 a month
Pottery: $65 a month, $300 for 6 months
Please check our class calendar to be sure
the studio is available.
Open Studio Time: Anytime The Bead Store
is open, and there is no class scheduled in
the Art School.
Please check our web-site calendar or call
ahead to reserve your space. (Walk-ins
welcome, but if there is a class or function
scheduled studio is unavailable.)
